Awardees are selected through a comprehensive nomination and evaluation process by the Awards Committee of the NYUAA Board. Their contributions to their communities and around the world exemplify NYU's spirit.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize respected and distinguished graduates whose personal achievement and/or service in professional, vocational, social, or cultural endeavors brings pride to the University. Awards include: the Distinguished Alumni Award; the Distinguished Recent Alumni Award (for nominees who have graduated in the past 10 years); and the Eugene J. Keogh Award for Distinguished Public Service.
The NYU Alumni Changemakers recognition honors entrepreneurs and visionaries who save lives and spread hope, while promoting ethical values, fostering inclusive dialogue, and driving action.
Alumni Volunteer & Service Awards recognize alumni volunteers, whose service to NYU furthers the mission of the NYU Alumni Association. Awards include: Volunteer(s) of the Year; New Volunteer(s) of the Year; Meritorious Service Award; and the Lifetime Service Award.
