Meritorious Service Award
This award is given to a member of the NYU alumni community of significant renown and who has provided exemplary service to volunteer programs.
The Volunteer & Service Awards recognize respected and distinguished graduates whose personal achievement and/or service in professional, vocational, social, or cultural endeavors brings pride to the University.
Award recipients can be recognized in seven distinct categories to celebrate and recognize their exemplary commitment. Alumni clubs, groups and individuals are reviewed and selected by fellow alumni volunteers and celebrated at the NYU Alumni Association's annual alumni volunteer recognition event.
This award is given to a member of the NYU alumni community of significant renown and who has provided exemplary service to volunteer programs.
This award is dedicated to an alumnus/a who has contributed to the success and growth of NYU alumni clubs and volunteer programs.
This award is given to any officially-recognized NYU-affiliated club or group, who has developed and executed an original and creative academic, social, cultural, career, or community service event during the past year, which has effectively engaged their alumni constituency and fulfilled or furthered the mission of the NYU Alumni Association.
This award is given to any officially-recognized NYU-affiliated club or group, or individual volunteer, who has developed and executed a unique and innovative community-building idea or strategy during the past year, which has effectively engaged their alumni constituency and fulfilled or furthered the mission of the NYU Alumni Association.
This award is given to a volunteer from any officially-recognized NYU-affiliated club or group, who has demonstrated sustained exemplary service and leadership in engaging alumni, exhibited success in developing and executing meaningful alumni programming, and cultivated the spirit of NYU pride within their constituency of the alumni community.
This award is given to a volunteer from any officially recognized NYU-affiliated club or group, who has assumed a volunteer role within the past year, and has demonstrated creativity and passion in fulfilling the NYUAA's mission to engage alumni, exhibited initiative in becoming an effective alumni leader, and cultivated the spirit of NYU pride within their constituency of the alumni community.
This award is given to an officially-recognized NYU-affiliated club or group that has continuously and consistently developed significant programming to engage the NYU alumni community throughout the previous five years. This award recognizes the alumni club or group's legacy of hard work and commitment to their NYU alumni community. This award recognizes long standing exemplary service and is not given every year. Clubs can only receive this award once.

2024 Event of the Year
Pan-Asia Alumni Conference: Navigating the New Asia
After three years of the pandemic, nearly 200 alumni gathered in Taipei, Taiwan, for the 2023 Pan-Asia Alumni Conference.

County-Led Leadership Model
In 2023, the NYU Alumni Club of New Jersey developed a model to ensure organic growth for the more than 40,000 NYU alumni residing across all geographic regions of New Jersey.

NYU Alumni Club in London
John [he/him] has served as a long-standing volunteer for NYU alumni in the United Kingdom and an excellent ambassador for the NYU Alumni Association throughout Europe. In 2018, John came to NYU staff with a detailed proposal to hold the first ever NYU Alumni Conference in Europe.

Subah Imani [she/her] is an inviting, inclusive, and engaging new volunteer for the NYU Alumni Club in Los Angeles, home to NYU's second largest alumni population in the world serving more than 15,000 NYU alumni.

Since its inception in 2013, the NYU Alumni Club in Shanghai has delivered high-quality programs reflecting the shared values of the NYU community, hosting more than 175 programs since 2017.

Nikolai Wolfe [he/him], the first Black man to lead the NYU Alumni Association (NYUAA), was a dynamic and inspirational leader throughout his two-year presidency. A two-time Tandon alum and dedicated former NYU Trustee, Nikolai excelled in building consensus across diverse viewpoints and interests.
