NYU Alumni Club in Taiwan

After three years of the pandemic, nearly 200 alumni gathered in Taipei, Taiwan, for the 2023 Pan-Asia Alumni Conference, organized by the NYU Alumni Club in Taiwan.

The weekend featured alumni-led sessions, a keynote by John Lee (TANDON '96), CEO of Merck Taiwan, and cultural excursions to the National Palace Museum and Jiufen, an old mining town. The conference concluded with a gala dinner, featuring performances by AK Benjamin (CAS '17), Vincent Hsuh (STEINHARDT '17), and the Taoist Deity, the Third Prince, followed by a live auction that raised more than $230,000 for the NYU Pan-Asia Alumni Scholarship.
